Wonderful actions! Over 85% of Old Growth Redwood was cut down the last 150 years. I have the priviledge of working some of this thousands years old wood into stringed instruments. Thanks for this! 🙏🔥❤️

I am now the proud owner of some of this lumber - the story of their construction and repurposing is wonderful :) If you haven't visited Salvage Heritage - get in your car (or on your bicycle) and go there as quickly as you can and purchase some of that wood before its all gone :) Its better quality than anything ive seen in the other home stores and best of all the people at Heritage Salvage are the best. They chat with me every time I go there and Bug the owner spent 2 hours last week helping me pick out wood for home. I reclaimed a lot of pine bleacher boards, heavy cured sealer on them, what’s the best way to strip the sealer so the boards can be sanded, stained and sealed again for flooring? I ran a couple boards through a planer, several times, but just seemed to gum up due to the amount of original sealer on the boards. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated
